Webster's oldest and largest youth house and travel baseball organization. Established in 1958 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in NY State, WAA has leagues for boys and girls ages 4-18. House baseball (Webster Little League) is charted through Little League Baseball, the largest youth sports organization in the world. The program emphasizes fun, development, participation, and sportsmanship for players age 4-16. Webster Wolves Travel Baseball (the travel division of WAA for ages 8U through 18U) provides opportunities for players seeking much higher levels of competition, training, and regional tournaments against the top teams in Monroe County and beyond. Players receive specialized instruction from the area's best coaches that teaches the finer points of baseball and puts them on the path to playing school baseball and beyond! Skills are developed off-season and sharpened during the season. Participation in the area's top tournaments provides opportunities to showcase skills and continue to grow as competitive athletes and fine young members of our community.
The purpose of WCB is to form and guide competitive travel baseball teams in the age groups from 8 years old (8U) through 19 years old (19U) for competition in Monroe County Travel Baseball Leagues and independent tournaments in the United States. Our goal is to promote participant safety, health, wellness, and sportsmanship while supporting and implementing age appropriate instructional and competitive opportunities for all age groups.
Webster Travel Baseball (WTB-Warthogs) is a formal non-profit organization incorporated in New York State. (www.webstertravelbaseball.org) WTB's goal is to develop and keep the top baseball talent in Webster on Webster travel teams, which play in the area's top travel league; MCBR (www.mcbaseballregion.com). We are the only Webster baseball organization sanctioned to enter new teams into the MCBR league. Each season we intend to form at least one team of Webster's top talent at each player age, 8u through 19u, and occasionally we form two teams at an age depending on tryout results. Our teams conduct routine Winter practices from Jan to April at the Thomas Fieldhouse and Premier Sports Dome. Additionally, each team provides some level of tournament exposure for player development during June and July. Tournaments provide multiple opportunities for the personal growth a player can gain from single elimination baseball challenges. Our goal is to not only help a player advance his/her physical baseball skills, but also their game strategy knowledge, situational awareness, and their mental toughness.
